　　雷達在我們的國防事業(yè)中起著非常重要的作用，它的用處將會更廣泛。

　　(正常語序：The use of radar, which plays a very important role in our national defense, will be still wider. 主語和謂語間隔太長，不平衡。)

　　Written in English on the blackboard were these words: “Merry Christmas!” 在黑板上用英語寫著這么幾個字：“圣誕快樂!”

　　Present at the meeting were the school headmaster, the English teacher, and the students’ parents. 出席會議的有校長、英語教師和學生們的家長。

　　Inside the pyramids are the burial rooms for the kings and queens and long passages to these rooms. 金字塔里面是國王和王后們的墓穴和通往墓穴的長通道。

　　5.其他用法

　　(1)倒裝還可用在強調(diào)表語和賓語的句子中。把表語和賓語提到主語前。

　　如：

　　Such was Albert Einstein, a simple man of great achievements.

　　愛因斯坦就是這樣一個取得了偉大成就的單純的人。

　　Such was the story he told me. 這就是他給我講的故事。

　　Happy is he who devotes himself to the cause of communism.

　　獻身于共產(chǎn)主義事業(yè)的人是幸福的。

　　Great have been our achievements since 1978.

　　自從1978年以來我們?nèi)〉玫某删褪莻ゴ蟮摹?/P>

　　So careful is she in doing her job that she never makes mistakes.

　　她工作如此認真，從來不犯錯誤。

　　Involved in the problem are some teaching methods.

　　牽涉在這個問題中的是某些教學方法。

　　Written on the label is the model of the machine.

　　寫在標簽上的是機器的型號。

　　Very important in our lives is reading. 在我們生命中非常重要的是讀書。

　　Still greater contributions should we make to promoting the friendship. 為促進友誼我們應(yīng)當做出更大的貢獻。

　　注意：如主語是代詞，且無較長的修飾語時，即便表語提前也不倒裝。

　　如：

　　Terribly hot it certainly was. 天確實是太熱了。

　　A very reliable person he is. 他是一個可靠的人。

　　(2)某些表示祝愿的句子倒裝。

　　如：

　　Long live the friendship among the Asian people and sportsmen!

　　亞洲各族人民和運動員之間的友誼萬歲!

　　May you return safe and sound. 祝你平安歸來!
