《大學(xué)英語教學(xué)大綱》對四級詞匯的要求是：“領(lǐng)會式掌握4200單詞(其中復(fù)用式掌握的單詞為2500)，以及由這些詞構(gòu)成的常用詞組1600條(中學(xué)所掌握的詞和詞組均包括在內(nèi))，并且有按照基本構(gòu)詞法識別生詞的能力�！�

　 　四級考試在2003年6月給考生帶來的巨大的震撼，因為盡管語法題的比重自2001年起逐年遞減，但從突然消失著實出乎人們意料，9月北京考題又只出現(xiàn)3道語法題，12月最新題為2道，2004年出現(xiàn)一道.可見語法不再作為詞匯與結(jié)構(gòu)部分的考點，而詞匯題成為主流。所以我們要全力以付攻克詞匯,因為詞匯是一切的基礎(chǔ).離開了詞匯,閱讀任你有多少技巧都會英雄無用武之地,然而閱讀如果拿不到分,想過四級則難上加難,可以這樣講: 得閱讀者得四級. 閱讀的重要性不言而喻。閱讀過關(guān)了，完形填空、簡答也就都不是問題了。寫作離開了詞匯，巧婦難為無米之炊。而詞匯結(jié)構(gòu)本身作為四級考試的必答題占了15分的分值更是你過級的保障.

　　如果能將歷年真題中相關(guān)題目整理出來，則基本可以覆蓋考查的范圍。單詞題除了極少量的搭配題（選項為介詞，要求與題干中動詞搭配)，全部是單詞辨義題。

　　1.精研歷年全真題。切勿簡單地認(rèn)為考過的題毫無價值可言，恰恰相反，因為四級考試是一項標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化的命題考試，某一種題型如果特別有針對性，或者其答案被多數(shù)考生選錯，那就證明該題的效度和信度較高，重考的機(jī)率相對來說也就大一些。例如：90年1月的42題和97年6月的33題；95年1月的49題和97年1月的36題：98年1月的42題和2000年6月的46題等等。

　　2.熟悉�？嫉脑~匯題型。

　　3.應(yīng)該多閱讀，甚至背誦一些經(jīng)典句型和篇章�！�21世紀(jì)報》、《新概念英語》三、四冊。

四級詞匯題中重點考詞詞匯如下：沖刺階段重點背誦
