　　“山寨”一詞源于廣東話，是“小型、小規(guī)�！鄙踔劣悬c“地下工廠”的意思，其主要特點為仿造性、快速化、平民化。如今，網(wǎng)絡(luò)上各種各樣的東西都有山寨版，山寨版明星、山寨版“神七”，山寨版“鳥巢”，山寨版的《紅樓夢》甚至火過新版《紅樓夢》。

　　從2003年開始出現(xiàn)山寨手機到各種山寨產(chǎn)品，“山寨”一詞從經(jīng)濟行為逐漸演變?yōu)橐环N社會文化現(xiàn)象。如今“山寨相機”、“山寨電影”、“山寨明星”甚至“山寨版的春晚”等諸多帶有模仿性質(zhì)的“山寨現(xiàn)象”層出不窮，形成了獨有的“山寨文化”。

The novelties emanating from the “Copycat Culture”---“Shanzhai Movie”, “Shanzhai Camera” and even “Shanzhai Celebration of Spring Festival” have brought a lot of entertainment to the public to some extent, but what we should never be blind to is their negative influence if they go to extremes hypothetically. Just as the exemplification demonstrated in the cartoon goes, “Shanzhai Star” is taking advantage of the fame or profitable value generating from the true superstar, sometimes this kind of behavior is a typical infringement to the intellectual property indeed, which we can never fail to recognize from TV programs or newspapers always.

The effort will combat “Shanzhai” mobile phones, or copycat phones, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said recently. ”
