　　一、遣詞用語準確地道

　　詞語的選用直接關系到句子的優(yōu)劣，也勢必關系到段落的主體思想，進而關系到整篇文章的質量，所以“把恰當的詞用到恰當的地方”成了寫作者的至理名言。在寫作中選擇準確的詞匯、使用地道的語言，不僅可以使文章的表達更加到位，更重要的是能起到“點睛”的作用，成為作文獲得高分的亮點之一。

　　二、開頭結尾突破常規(guī)

　　文章開頭段除了要表明主題外，還有一個重要的任務就是要引起讀者的興趣，使文章具有與眾不同的吸引力，四、六級寫作閱卷往往根據第一段確定文章分數檔次，如果能在開頭就表現(xiàn)出不同凡響的語句，對于提高整個文章的分數檔次會有很大的作用。

　　另外，文章的結尾也同樣不容忽視。結尾篇幅雖然不宜過長，但卻也是決定文章成敗的點睛之筆，因此可以有意識地采取某種突破常規(guī)的寫作手法，讓考官在讀到結尾時能眼睛一亮。

　　三、適當運用修辭手法

　　準確恰當地使用修辭手法，會極大地增強文章的表現(xiàn)力，使文章更加生動形象、意蘊豐富并且引人入勝。英文寫作中常見的修辭手法有比喻、平行結構、修辭問句等。

　　四、恰當使用警句格言

　　一篇好的作文除了要有合理的結構和布局之外，如果能有一定的文采，一定會錦上添花，而表現(xiàn)出文采的一個重要手段就是恰當地使用警句格言。

　　Some people say that "lucky numbers" can bring them good luck. They believe that lucky numbers make them feel safe or energetic and so they can deal with problems better.

　　However, others don't believe that numbers have any connection with good luck. They think such idea (such kind of idea/such an idea) is only a superstitious belief. In fact, numbers is only number. Luck is only luck. There is no relations (relationship) between them. So far as I am concerned, "lucky numbers" have nothing to do with good luck. If lucky numbers really worked , we were not to fail anything. Numbers can never bring good luck to a person at all and our fortune is in our own hands. Therefore, everyone can have good fortune only if he tries his best.

　　本文結構比較清晰，句式變化也還可以，語法錯誤也很少(斜體部分)，但從整篇文章來看缺少語言上的亮點。

　　首先，遣詞用語缺乏特色。全文在用詞方缺乏深度和特色，幾乎都是一些過于大眾化的單詞，如believe, think等，不能給人留下深刻的印象。

　　其次，沒有恰當運用修辭。全文未運用任何恰當的修辭手法。

　　再次，沒有使用警句格言。全文未出現(xiàn)任何警句或格言。

　　最后，開頭結尾平淡無奇。開頭結尾均沒有出現(xiàn)有特色的句式，無法激起閱卷老師的興奮點。

　　Some people say that some numbers will bring them good luck. Take 8 for example. The Chinese pronunciation of the number “8” has almost the same sound as that of the Chinese character "發(fā)", which means making a fortune. Therefore, many Chinese people spare no money to get their telephone number or car number to include this number "8". They believe without any doubt that the number will bring them money.

　　However, others don't believe that numbers have any connection with good luck. They think such kind of idea is only an ignorant and superstitious belief. They will say: How can you ever have any good luck simply because of some lucky numbers, even if you don't work hard, don't have good opportunities and don't get along well with the people around you?

　　So far as I am concerned, I agree with the latter. Obviously, such belief is only a kind of superstition. Perhaps it holds true for some cases, but often it does not. Numbers can never bring good luck to a person at all and our fortune is in our own hands. Therefore, everyone can have good fortune only if he tries his best. Let's always remember "Opportunities are only for the prepared mind"and "No pains, no gains."

　　本文之所以能夠得到14分，除了結構清晰、句式多變以外，還有很多語言上的亮點。

　　首先，遣詞用語準確地道。如第一段第四句中spare(吝惜，節(jié)約)一詞就用的很準，形象地刻畫出這類人的心態(tài)。緊接著第五句中的without any doubt(不假思索)的使用也非常恰當，提醒讀者不假思索地相信幸運數字是缺乏辯證思維的。另外，最后一段中的hold true也是典型的英語表達方式，顯現(xiàn)出本文用語的地道。

　　其次，適當運用修辭手法。第二段第四句運用反問使問題的答案不言自明，觀點的表達更加有力。而該句中三個don’t構成排比，更加強了氣勢，使論證達到高潮。

　　再次，恰當使用警句格言。本文的最后以兩句諺語作為結束，運用恰到好處，又突顯出作者的文采。

　　最后，開頭結尾突破常規(guī)。開頭運用例證為主題提供充分驗證，說服力很強。結尾用諺語收尾，使人眼前一亮。
