游客在美國(guó)的多數(shù)大城市,幾乎可以找到各種類型的餐館。電話簿以名稱、所在城區(qū)位置或食物種類,列出每個(gè)城市的餐館名稱。大城市的餐館價(jià)格差別很大。許多餐館在櫥窗里張貼菜單,讓你進(jìn)去之前就能對(duì)食物的價(jià)格和種類有所了解。假如沒有貼出菜單,而你又不知道那地方的飯菜貴到什么程度,那么進(jìn)去之后,可以先要菜單來看,再就坐,要不然就直接問價(jià)格高低。光看餐館的外表,可能產(chǎn)生誤導(dǎo)──外表普通的小餐館,也許實(shí)際上極貴;外表看來昂貴的大餐館,價(jià)錢可能很公道。
你在酒吧或咖啡館,大概五美元或略多一點(diǎn)就可以吃一頓,但在多數(shù)城市的餐館就餐,一個(gè)人大概要花20到30美元,而且飲料還要另算。
