　　In practice,however,people often neglect environmental protection while developing economy.For instance,in enlarging their production,many factories directly discharge their waste water into rivers and poisonous gas into air.And in exploiting natural resources,people cut down forests recklessly.All these follies will destroy the ecological balance,and give rise to disastrous consequences such as drought and floods.
　　To maintain a sustainable economic growth,we should make people aware of the importance of environmental protection and attach great importance to the development of a harmonious society in our economic growth.Besides,great efforts should be directed to planting more trees and conserving underground water.Meanwhile,laws must be laid down to punish those who pollute our environment so that we can enjoy our improved life on a clean and beautiful planet.
