　　51. Directions:

　　You have just received a short message from your father informing that your mother is very ill and you want to ask for one week�餾 leave. Write a note(便箋) to your Office Head Mr. Wang about it.

　　You should write about 100 words on ANSWER SHEET 2.

　　Do not sign your own name at the end of the note. Use “Li Ming” instead.

　　Do not write the address.

　　52. Directions:

　　Write an essay of 160—200 words based on the following set of pictures. In your essay, you should

　　1) describe the pictures briefly,

　　2) interpret their intended meaning, and

　　3) point out their implications in our life.
