Green Travel
Recently the topic of green travel has been widely debated which has aroused public attention and has been more and more popular with people. To some extent, it has become a fashion. Undoubtedly, green travel has a pround impact on both enviroment and social, for its significance cannot be denied.
Green travel, especially public transport, makes a positive contribution to the environment and society. On one hand, public transport has the potential to reduce transport CO 2 emissions, which is a major contributor to local air pollution and smog. In this sense, green travel makes the environment clean and gives people a healthy living environment. On the other hand, public transport plays an important role in reducing the social costs of transport include traffic jam and time taken away from the family while commuting and vulnerability to fuel price increases.
We have only one world we can live in. I hope through green travel can we protect the enviroment and save resources. In my opinion, no matter where we go, we are supposed to choose green travel. If you are near to the place which you go to, you can go there on foot or by bicycle. In this way can we protect our environmen and keep fit. If you are far away from it, you can choose going there by bus or by taxi with your friends.

On Water Shortage
No one can deny the fact that water shortage is a grave problem (嚴(yán)肅的問題) with which the whole world is confronted(面對). Actually, it has become so widespread that it has severely affected people’s daily life and hindered(阻礙)the development of the global economy.
A number of factors could account for the problem, but the following might be the critical(關(guān)鍵性的)ones. Firstly，the ever-increasing (不斷增長的) population is a leading cause of water shortage. As populations increase, the demand for water grows accordingly. secondly, people everywhere waste water without even realizing it(毫無意識的): showers last too long， taps are left running and so forth. Last but not least, the industrial production will cause water contamination (水污染)and it will also decrease the existing water resources (現(xiàn)有的水資源)further more.
In view of the seriousness of the problem, effective measures must be taken before things get worse. For one thing, it is essential that laws and regulations be worked out and enforced(制定和執(zhí)行) impose a heavy penalty on those who waste or contaminate waster deliberately . Secondly, a large-scale education campaign should be launched to inform the public of the significance of economizing on (節(jié)約)water. With these measures taken, it is reasonable for us to believe that this problem can be perfectly solved in the near future .

the newly-coined word“online education”may by no means(不) sound strange to most people. During the past several years, hundreds of online education colleges have sprung up (涌現(xiàn))around China.
Why could online education be so popular in such a short period of time?(短時(shí)間內(nèi))For one thing, If we want to catch up with the development and the great pace of (快的步伐) modern society, we all should possess an urgent and strong desire (急切而強(qiáng)烈的欲望)to study, while most people nowadays are under so enormous pressures that (處在如此大的壓力下以至于) they can hardly have time and energy (時(shí)間和精力)to study full time at school. Furthermore, online education enables them to save a great deal of time on the way spent on the way between home and school. Last but not least, the quick (快速的)development of internet，which makes possible (使之成為可能)all our dreams of attending class on the net，should also be another critical(關(guān)鍵的) reason.
Personally, I appreciate this new form of education. It’s indeed a helpful complement (補(bǔ)充)to the traditional educational means(方式，方法). It can provide different learners with more flexible and various(靈活多樣的) ways to learn. Most of all, through online education, we can stick to our jobs and at the same time study and absorb the latest knowledge.
