讓我們首先看一篇文章：

The shops of the border town are filled with many souvenirs, pottery, bullhorns and "serapes"(一種華麗的毛織布), all made from cheap material and decorated in a gaudy manner, which the tourist thinks is true Mexico
folk art.The attitude of the author toward the souvenirs can best be described as

D. contemptuous

文章中bullhorns是指牛角，serapes是一種華麗的毛織布。再?gòu)腸heap, gaudy(華麗而俗氣)等詞的運(yùn)用，我們可以看出作者的態(tài)度是諷刺和藐視。所以答案是D. 可能的問(wèn)題有：
1. What is the author's attitude toward ...?
2. How does the author feel about ...?
3. Which of the following best describes the attitude of the author
toward ...?
4. The author's attitude toward ... is _____.
5. The attitude of the author toward ... can best be described as ______.

在解決該類問(wèn)題時(shí)，應(yīng)該注意以下幾個(gè)方面：
1． 關(guān)注文章中的描寫性段落和描述性語(yǔ)言；
2． 注意作者所用的直接表達(dá)感情或態(tài)度的詞語(yǔ)，如上文中的cheap, gaudy
3． 通過(guò)論據(jù)的對(duì)比，重點(diǎn)傾向進(jìn)行判斷
4． 根據(jù)主題及作者對(duì)題材的選擇進(jìn)行判斷

下面我們來(lái)看一看具體如何運(yùn)用

We will not deny that tourism has an influence which is not always appreciated by everybody. Some people prefer to be left alone. 這篇文章有兩個(gè)論據(jù)，分別是第二句和第四句，通過(guò)比較，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)作者很明顯傾向于第二個(gè)論據(jù)，有but為證，所以答案應(yīng)選C.
